Kwesé Sports is delighted to bring to you the inaugural Star Sixes legends tournament from the O2 Arena in London this weekend, as 12 teams of legendary players from around the world clash in a four-day extravaganza.

Africa's representatives, Nigeria, are taking a 10-man squad to the tournament, with some of the Super Eagles' greatest names from the last 20 years aiming to do the continent proud against the other legends on show.

Many of this star-studded Nigeria selection were part of the nation's Golden Generation of the mid-1990s.

That team conquered the continent in 1994 and won Olympic gold two years later. Will they find themselves standing atop the mountain at the Star Sixes?

Jay-Jay Okocha (Captain): One of the most eye-catching players ever produced by Africa, Okocha was an Africa Cup of Nations-winner in 1994 and was also part of the gold-medal-winning team of 1996.

His remarkable technique lit up the Premier League during a memorable stay with Bolton Wanderers, and he won the BBC Africa Footballer of the Year award in 2003 and 2004.

Peter Rufai: The big stopper will keep goal for the Super Eagles at the Star Sixes, where he'll look to bring his extensive international experience to bear when he comes face to face with legendary talents like Alessandro Del Piero, Rivaldo and Michael Owen.

The 53-year-old represented Nigeria at two World Cups, and started the West Africans' Nations Cup final success over Zambia in 1994.

Uche Okechukwu: Another member of Nigeria's continent-conquering team of 1994, Okechukwu is a centre-back who enjoyed almost a decade in the heart of Fenerbahce's defence. He won two Danish titles with Brondby.

Celestine Babayaro: Best known for his time with Chelsea, Babayaro will surely be delighted to be returning to competition in London, the city where he made such a big impression during eight years with Chelsea.

The left-back won the FA Cup in 2000 when he defeated an Aston Villa side featuring David James and Paul Merson, both of whom will be featuring for England at the Star Sixes.

Taribo West: Another one of Africa's all-time greats, West's career arguably peaked too soon after memorable spells with Auxerre and Internazionale.

Will the Pastor be looking to make up for lost time against some of the world's all-time greats?

Victor Ikpeba: Perhaps best known for a prolific six-year spell with AS Monaco in the mid-90s, Ikpeba won the French title with the Monegasques, and was also a part of both the victorious Nigeria teams in 1994 and 1996.

In 1993, Ikpeba won the Ebony Shoe - the prize given to the best African player in Belgium - while he was named Africa's Footballer of the Year in 1997.

Joseph Yobo was a Premier League player until as recently as 2014, when he featured for Norwich City on loan in their futile battle against relegation before going onto captain Nigeria into the Last 16 of the World Cup.

The 36-year-old centre-back made just under 200 Premier League appearances for Everton, and also captained the Super Eagles to the African title in 2013.

Daniel Amokachi: Like a few other players on this list, Amokachi will be fondly remembered by fans of English football, having made such a memorable contribution for Everton during an - admittedly brief - stay at Goodison Park.

He netted twice in the 1995 FA Cup semifinal victory over Tottenham Hotspur, as the Toffees won their last major honour to date.

Garba Lawal: The versatile Lawal was a valuable utility man for Nigeria during a 13-year international career that yielded over half a century of caps. He played for clubs in Tunisia, the Netherlands, and Greece, and is fondly remembered for his role in the Super Eagles' 3-2 victory over Spain at the 1998 World Cup.

Julius Aghahowa: One of only a handful of Nigerian players to have found the net at the World Cup, Aghahowa was famed as a youth in his homeland for his searing pace. Later in his career, he celebrated his goalscoring feats with dazzling somersaults during spells with Shakhtar Donetsk and Kayserispor.
