Roma director Walter Sabatini says Barcelona's Bojan Krkic would be a "perfect fit" for the Serie A club, less than 24 hours after agent Zoran Vekic said a move to the Italian capital would suit the forward.

Bojan, who is currently on duty with Spain at the European Under-21 Championship in Denmark, has been linked with a move to the Stadio Olimpico as uncertainty surrounds the future of Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic, who according to Sabatini is "unhappy" at the club.

Newly-appointed boss Luis Enrique recently stated his desire to work with some of his former players from Barcelona's B side, and Sabatini expressed his appreciation of the 20-year-old talents.

"He is a strong player and he could insert himself perfectly in certain types of play [at Roma]," Sabatini told Teleradiostereo. "He would also bring great knowledge of the pitch."

"Would he start? Roma have strong players and I always had fear playing against them in the past."

Bojan, who has made 104 total appearances for Barcelona scoring 26 goals in all competitions, has also been mentioned as potentially being used as a makeweight in transfers for Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi and Udinese's Alexis Sanchez.

The diminutive striker found the back of the net seven times last year, and helped the Catalans recapture the La Liga title as well as the Champions League, mostly as a substitute.
