The No. 17-ranked California men's soccer team won its second consecutive Pac-10 title by tying Oregon State 0-0 at Paul Lorenz Field.

By winning the championship, the Golden Bears earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament for a school record seventh consecutive time and improved their record to 11-4-2.

"Our players should be commended on their second consecutive Pac-10 Championship," said head coach Kevin Grimes. "The teams in our conference are among the best in the country, and that makes it very rewarding."

Cal sophomore keeper Stefan Frei made seven saves against Oregon State in earning his conference-leading ninth shutout of the season. Frei's counterpart, Packy Deenihan, made four saves for the Beavers.
