Hughes has come under tremendous pressure recently following a winless start to the season.

However, on numerous occasions Fernandes has made a point of backing his manager.

QPR came from behind to rescue a point against Reading, seen as a match the former Blackburn boss dare not lose, leading the club's chief to take to his Twitter account to insist he has total faith in Hughes.

He tweeted: "A game of 2 halves. Players getting used to premier league and different type of teams. Keep calm we will come good. Plenty of time. Many opps to win the game. I'm calm. Won't please everyone. But as I keep saying stability is key."

On Friday Hughes stated that he did not believe his future at the west London club was in doubt and that it was only a matter of time before he would turn the side's fortunes around.

QPR are currently 19th in the Premier League, with just four points from ten games.
