Boateng, 28, has enjoyed a long career in European football and won 35 caps for Ghana's Black Stars and continues to be regarded as one of Africa's best midfield players.

The Dnipro midfielder only moved to Ukraine last summer, but it keen to leave and sees the Premier League as his natural home.

"I want to play in the English league," he said.

"I love that league and I will enjoy my football there because they let you play there and the pace is unbelievable.

"It will be a dream come true for me to play in the Premier League."

Speaking in January, Boateng explained that Fulham had made two bids for his services at the start of the transfer window, but the offers were snubbed by Dnipro.

"When the transfer window opened Fulham approached Dnipro to sign me on loan but my club flatly turned down the offer," Boateng told MTNFootball.com.

"Fulham then offered to sign me in the summer but that was also rejected. So I won't be moving to Fulham."
