PSG eye Msakni bid

PSG have made a move to sign Tunisia's star of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Youssef Msakni, according to the player's club Esperance Tunis.

Msakni, 21, shot into the limelight in the tournament earlier this year and has been linked with some of France's top sides, with Paris Saint-Germain the first to make their move.

"I can confirm the PSG link," Meddeb told Tunisian newspaper La Presse de Tunisie.

"Youssef Msakni came to me and asked me to take a leave of absence for three days in order to respond to an invitation from PSG.

"But, for now, I cannot respond favourably to his request given the commitments of the team."

Rumoured to be a target for Arsenal, attacking-midfielder Msakni has scored 27 goals in 63 games for his club, earning 12 caps in the process.
