Debuchy, 28, signed a five-and-a-half year deal with the Magpies when he moved from Lille in January 2013.

However, even before seeing his friend and former Newcastle teammate Yohan Cabaye move to PSG in January, the France international full-back had reportedly been in the sights of the Ligue 1 champions.

"I'm still under contract with Newcastle," he said. "We'll see after the World Cup, but you never know what life is going to bring. PSG is a huge club. I would like to go there during my career, but we're not at that stage yet."

Debuchy has made 25 league appearances for the Magpies this season, and has impressed as his side lie ninth in the table after 32 games.

PSG, meanwhile, top Ligue 1 and face Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday evening.
