The Montreal Impact will host the first leg of the Eastern Conference final at Olympic Stadium.

The former home of the Montreal Expos had a capacity of over 61,000 when the Impact played the CONCACAF Champions League final there in 2015. The Impact's regular stadium, the Stade Saputo, only holds 20,801 people.

In addition to the larger capacity, Olympic Stadium also features a roof, which could be needed in case of low temperatures on Nov. 22.

The Impact reached the conference final by upsetting the New York Red Bulls 3-1 on aggregate.

The Red Bulls topped the Eastern Conference in the regular season, but Ignacio Piatti, who scored twice in Sunday's second leg, said he had expected the New Jersey club to drop off in the playoffs.

"We knocked out an important team, but we knew they're a weak team in the playoffs," said "They showed that last year, they showed that this year. During the regular season, they're tough, but in the playoffs, they're not that good."
