Mexico will be without midfielder Javier Aquino in Wednesday's friendly with Senegal.
Aquino picked up a knock in Tigres' win over Chiapa on Friday, and his club said he would not be able to play for the national team.
He has a sore left hamstring and did not make the trip to Miami for the game.
Mexico will not replace him on the squad, leaving El Tri with 21 players to face Senegal.
The match is Mexico's only test before facing Canada in two straight World Cup qualifiers on March 25 and 29.
