Malaga Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, on loan Rayo Vallecano winger Javier Aquino, Porto's Hector Herrera and Chivas USA's Erick Torres were included with Hernandez. Herrera left out Porto's Diego Reyes and the Villarreal brother duo of Jonathan and Giovani dos Santos.

Hernandez did not see action for Mexico's two friendlies last month vs. Chile and Bolivia.

El Tri will play two friendlies in October: Oct. 9 vs. Honduras at Victor Manuel Reyna stadium in Chiapas and on Oct. 12 vs. Panama at Queretaro. Tickets for the first match went on sale on Monday.
