Mexico stunned by fans' support

A spontaneous Mexican party ignited in Fortaleza on Sunday evening, with hundreds of El Tri fans blocking the street in front of the team hotel and serenading the players.

- Faitelson: Mexico can dream the impossible vs. Brazil

The majority of the Mexico players and staff looked on from their hotel room balconies before moving downstairs and joining the fans, conducting their chants and swinging their shirts around their heads.

El Tri manager Miguel Herrera posted a selfie on his Twitter account, accompanied by the message: "These are fans. I love them. Thanks for being with us and the support."

Players like Oribe Peralta -- who scored the winner in Friday's campaign-opening 1-0 victory over Cameroon -- Hector Moreno and Guillermo Ochoa also thanked fans for their support on social networking sites, while the Mexican football federation posted a video.

Mexico will train in the Arena Castelao in Fortaleza on Monday ahead of Tuesday's game against the host nation.

Coach Herrera is also due to give a press conference, at which he is likely to name the team to start against Brazil. Both sides go into the Group A game on three points, having won their opening matches.
