Ronaldinho storms out of stadium after substitution

Brazilian star Ronaldinho was so unhappy at being taken off before halftime in Queretaro's 2-0 loss to Pachuca on Thursday that he left the stadium.

The 35-year-old's team had a disastrous first half in the Clausura 2015 semifinal first leg, with two goals conceded and Ricardo Osorio receiving a red card.

Ronaldinho was visibly angry when he was hauled off one minute before half-time-- following the red card - for defensive midfielder Miguel Martinez, as coach Victor Manuel Vucetich sought to shore up the defense.

Twenty minutes before the end of the match, television footage captured Ronaldinho leaving the stadium in a private vehicle.

"It was a tactical question, we couldn't give anything away [at 2-0 down]," said the experienced Vucetich after the match. "The fact they didn't score allows us to be alive in the series."

Vucetich added that Ronaldinho's misbehavior would be dealt with internally by the club.

Ronaldinho has endured a difficult time since joining Queretaro last September, with Vucetich benching the World Cup winner towards the end of the Clausura regular season. However, he had played well in the quarterfinal against Veracruz and netted the goal that sent his team through to the semis.

The former Barcelona star signed a two-year contract with the club last September and although there have been constant rumors surrounding his future, Queretaro has been adamant he would be staying.

The second leg of the semifinal is set for Sunday in Queretaro, though there will be a question mark over whether Ronaldinho will feature.
