Match Commentary

95' Few people would have predicted a Nigeria win at the start of the competition but they've earned their crown. The continent's most populous nation celebrates being its best team once again. Despair for Burkina but what a run they've enjoyed. Another tournament rich with colour and atmosphere - see you again in 2015 in Morocco!
95' Players sink to their knees as the Nigeria supporters in the stadium erupt with joy. Great scenes and a great victory for a country whose national team was in disarray just a few years back.
95' Burkina Faso's brave charge couldn't extend to the final and they created very little in the way of chances. Nigeria's third title (1980, 1994, 2013) means only Egypt, Cameroon & Ghana have won more.
