Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he "doesn't care" about matching Sir Matt Busby's record of five straight wins at the start of his Old Trafford reign.
Solskjaer made it five from five with a 2-0 victory over Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday, emulating Busby's start in 1946.
The 45-year-old has a better record after five games than both Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, but said that meant nothing to him.
"I don't care, not now," Solskjaer said. "I might sit down in 20 years' time and look at whatever records I have.
"I never look back. Never ever. When I'm in a position, I never look back on what I'm doing that way."
Solskjaer's next test comes against Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday in a game that sees him go head-to-head with Mauricio Pochettino, favourite to land the United job full-time.
"Tottenham have performed fantastically this season, and they've got a great way of playing," Solskjaer said.
"There will be loads of things we need to look at both as individuals -- you've got [Harry] Kane, one of the best strikers in the world, [Christian] Eriksen, one of the best playmakers, you've got Son, [Dele] Alli -- and we have to look at the team unit and how we play against them."
Tottenham, the first team in the top half of the table that Solskjaer has faced so far, have won 14 of their last 17 games in all competitions and defender Phil Jones said: "Spurs is a good test.
"We are in good form and have some momentum going. We have steadied the ship a bit, if you like, and we need to keep going.
"We have not done anything yet, we have not achieved anything, but we need to keep it going.
"Possibly Spurs will be an indicator for us and how far we can go, but it is a game we need to win."
