Salford City, the club owned by several former Manchester United players, have appointed Graham Alexander as their new manager.
Alexander, sacked by Scunthorpe United in March, will replace co-managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley, who left the club last week despite earning promotion to the National League because of irreconcilable differences.

"We have acquired the highest quality of manager in Graham to continue the great work that has been done over the last four seasons," co-owner Gary Neville said in a statement.
A former Scotland international, Alexander, 46, played for Preston North End, Burnley, Scunthorpe and Luton Town and has also managed Fleetwood Town.
"As a manager, you have to look for certain aspects of what can be achieved at a new club and the possibilities here are boundless," Alexander said. "There is a great deal of work to be done on and off the pitch to fulfil the potential of Salford City and I can't wait to get started."
Salford are partially owned by Neville and his brother, Phil, as well as former United "Class of '92" legends Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.
