MANCHESTER, England -- Sergio Romero is running out of time to prove his fitness ahead of Manchester United's FA Cup semifinal against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, sources have told ESPN FC. Goalkeeper Romero, who has kept clean sheets in each of United's four FA Cup games so far, has not been able to train since suffering a knee injury while playing for Argentina against Spain last month. He was not with the United squad that travelled to Bournemouth for Wednesday night's Premier League fixture. Romero had been in line to start at Wembley and first-choice David De Gea is in line to take his place against Spurs. The 31-year-old will hope to be available for the final in May if United get there, and will also be part of Argentina's squad for the World Cup provided he is fit. United will not return to Manchester before Saturday's semifinal and will train at Fulham's Motspur Park facility on Thursday and Friday. Manager Jose Mourinho has named every available player in his squad for the games against Bournemouth and Tottenham, with Luke Shaw, Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and Matteo Darmian all been included. Shaw has yet to make a firm decision about his future at Manchester United and will assess his options this summer, sources have told ESPN FC.
