Manchester United's Andreas Pereira determined to win Jose Mourinho over

Andreas Pereira is determined to win over Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho while he's on tour in the United States.

Pereira, 21, was sent on loan to Granada last season. But after returning to Old Trafford, the Brazilian midfielder has been included in the squad for the trip to the U.S.

Mourinho is set to delay a decision on Pereira's future until after the games against LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

And Pereira is determined to earn a place in the squad for next season.

He told manutd.com: "I am very happy that I am back, and I can be part of this team. I will try to do my best to stay here, get an important role for the season, to help my teammates and to impress the manager.

"[Last season] was a good experience, I learned a lot of things and hopefully I can use them now here back at United.

"I was focused when I was there to play well, to learn a lot, to improve so I can come back more ready to play and to help my teammates over here.

"It boosts me that the people here trust the young players. I am very happy for the young players and I want to be a part of this team as well."
