Emergency services were called to deal with a fire at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground in the early hours of Monday morning.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Services (GMFRS) attended the blaze in the stadium's South Stand, which was renamed after club legend Sir Bobby charlton last year.
A GMFRS spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News: "We were called at 6.58am to Sir Matt Busby Way.
"Three fire engines from Manchester, Salford and Stretford attended the scene.
"We have isolated the electrics and extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and a CO2 fire extinguisher."

The local news outlet added that the fire, which started in the lift motor room, was brought under control soon after firefighters arrived on the scene.
United said via their official Twitter account later on Monday morning: "A small electrical fire was identified quickly in the Sir Bobby Charlton stand around 7am today.
"The fire brigade attended & the isolated incident was dealt with quickly & effectively. There was minimal damage & there were no injuries."
