'Big chance' Zlatan Ibrahimovic will extend Man United stay - Mino Raiola

Zlatan's Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has said that there is a "big chance" that the Swede will play a second year at Manchester United -- and that the striker has "killed" his doubters.

Ibrahimovic, 35, signed for United in the summer on a one-year deal with an option of a second and is enjoying life at United, having scored 16 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions.

Raiola told talkSPORT: "There is a big chance that there will be a second year, yes. It's more a question of time, rather than when or if."

He added that Ibrahimovic was not motivated by money, saying: "He chose not to take it [Chinese money] to come to England. That showed the spirit. The boy is not done yet.

"He still has the fire, he wants to win, to perform. If it was only money that he was after, he would not be with Manchester United."

When asked about the player being a "revelation" while at United, Raiola replied: "He's a revelation for England. For the rest of the world, it is not a revelation.

"It was always one of our goals to show what he could do in the Premier League. He has killed everybody who had doubts about him in the Premier League.

"His ultimate goal is actually now to win the Premier League. It's the only league he's played in that he's yet to win."

Another of Raiola's clients, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, is also finding form for United, having scored in successive games against Zorya Luhansk and Tottenham Hotspur this month. The Armenian, who was ruled out of Saturday's 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion with an ankle injury, has also won his country's Player of the Year award again.

Raiola said: "He showed his class in Germany. But now I see an even more aggressive, determined player than in Germany. He was maybe more elegant then. Now he also has this aggressiveness that the Premier League needs, when you don't have the ball.

"I knew Mkhi could come in and be one of the best in the Premier League. He showed that in Ukraine. He showed that in Germany and that's a very difficult league. He has shown that in England.

"I see that now Manchester United is coming together. It is getting now the balance. The second half of the Premier League will be an exciting one."
