Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin not in Man United squad to face Zorya

Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin have been left out of Manchester United's 19-man squad to face Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League on Thursday.

Depay has only made one start for United this season, in the 3-1 EFL Cup win at Northampton Town in September, when he was substituted in the second half.

Schneiderlin, meanwhile, has made just three starts including two in the Europa League and one at Northampton.

Matteo Darmian, Michael Carrick and Antonio Valencia have not travelled to Ukraine after being starters in recent Premier League matches, while Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw are still out with injuries.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is ineligible, having not been registered in United's initial Europa League squad.

United captain Wayne Rooney is back after missing the 1-1 Premier League draw with Everton on Sunday due to suspension, while Eric Bailly remains in the squad having returned to the bench at Goodison Park after missing eight matches with a knee injury.

United flew out to Odessa for the match knowing that a draw would be enough to secure a place in the round of 32 of the Europa League.

Meanwhile, sources close to West Ham have told ESPN FC that the Hammers are unlikely to make a move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Manchester United squad: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone; Fosu-Mensah, Jones, Bailly, Rojo, Blind, Young; Fellaini, Herrera, Pogba, Lingard, Mata, Mkhitaryan; Martial, Rashford, Rooney, Ibrahimovic.
