Man United's Jose Mourinho sent to stands against West Ham

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands after reacting angrily to a yellow card shown to Paul Pogba during his side's 1-1 draw against West Ham on Sunday.

Mourinho was seen to kick a water bottle after Pogba was booked for diving during the first half at Old Trafford, with referee Jonathan Moss dismissing the Portuguese for his reaction.

It is the second time this season that Mourinho has been sent to the stands at Old Trafford, suffering the same fate during last month's 0-0 draw with Burnley.

Against Burnley, the United boss was given his marching orders after confronting referee Mark Clattenburg at half-time, having reacted when Matteo Darmian saw a penalty appeal ignored.

Mourinho then received a one-match touchline ban from the Football Association for his behaviour after he accepted an improper conduct charge.

The former Chelsea boss was also fined £50,000 earlier this season for media comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor prior to United's game at Liverpool.
