Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has said teammates Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are adapting well to the Premier League.
France midfielder Pogba, 23, returned to Old Trafford from Juventus for a world-record fee of £89.3 million this summer, while striker Ibrahimovic joined as a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
Ibrahimovic ended his six-game goal drought for United by scoring twice in a 3-1 win at Swansea City on Nov. 6, a game in which Pogba also scored to halt a run of four games without a goal.
Mata told Marca: "It's true that the rhythm in France and Italy is very different but we are talking about two incredible players, without a doubt. The expectations are very high, but I think they are doing a very good job."
Mata, who is expected to play for Spain in Tuesday's international friendly against England at Wembley, has backed under fire United captain Wayne Rooney.
Rooney, 31, has struggled for form and spent a recent spell on the United bench, but Mata said: "Rooney is a legend. I consider him that.
"In terms of games and goals he is of the level of Sir Bobby Charlton and above Gary Lineker.
"We are talking about the most important people in the history of English football. Wayne has achieved things that very few have managed."
Rooney will not feature against Spain after withdrawing from the England squad with a knee problem.
