Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah feels he is getting "better and better" after another taste of first-team football at Manchester United. Fosu-Mensah made his first competitive appearance under Jose Mourinho in the League Cup win over Northampton Town on Sept. 21 and played again in Thursday's 1-0 Europa League win over Zorya Luhansk. The 18-year-old told MUTV: "I'm feeling better and better. As a footballer, you just want to play football. When you play football, you feel happy. "I listen to the players -- Wazza [Wayne Rooney], Carras [Michael Carrick], the more senior players like Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] and they help me to develop into a better player." The win over Zorya was Fosu-Mensah's first taste of European football, with his 10 appearances last season having come in either the Premier League or the FA Cup. He said: "It's important to get the three points. Our attitude was very good," adding that United would go into Sunday's game against struggling Stoke City "in good form and good shape."
