Man United manager Jose Mourinho 'really irritating' - Roy Keane

Roy Keane has said that Jose Mourinho is not his "cup of tea" but the Irishman would welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival at Manchester United.

Former United captain Keane admitted that he found the club's new manager Mourinho "really irritating" when he came up against him, but the 44-year-old feels that Sweden striker Ibrahimovic could fill a leadership void at the club.

Discussing Mourinho, who was appointed as Louis van Gaal's successor last week, Keane told ITV Sport: "He was available, with a fantastic CV and it seems like a good fit, but maybe he is not for me. He is not my cup of tea. I found him really irritating when I coached against him, but that is just a personal thing.

"Working at Manchester United is all about winning and his CV will tell you he is a winner. He was always going to be a good option when United didn't qualify for the Champions League."

When asked if Ibrahimovic, who will be a free agent when his contract expires at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, would be a good signing, Keane replied: "I think so. Big player, character. I've said all along that United have lacked a few characters."
