Daley Blind believes Manchester United can still make the top four

Daley Blind has refused to rule out making the top four and has called on his Manchester United teammates to win every game to try and ensure Champions League football for next season.

Blind, who joined the club in 2014 from Ajax, believes every match from now on is a must-win to put them selves in the best position to qualify for Europe's elite club competition.

United are four points off Manchester City who currently sit in fourth place with six games to go, but the Netherlands international has insisted they aren't looking further ahead than the next game.

"Every game is very important now," he told the club's official website. "We have to look at all of them as finals because they're all important. That's why we take things game by game and don't look too far forward.

"There are still a few games to play and some results will still be different to what you think.

"We have to focus on our ourselves and believe in ourselves. We will give everything we can between now and the end of the season."

Despite a rallying call to his teammates to win every remaining fixture, the 26-year-old admits they need other results to go their way, too.

"It's not in our own hands so we have to hope other results go our way, as well as making sure we do our job," he added.

"The key thing is making sure you stick together, work hard and give everything, knowing you can't lose any points. We're all aware of that and we have to win every game."
