Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian suffered a dislocated shoulder in the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland and will be out for "several weeks."
Darmian landed awkwardly after colliding in the air with goal scorer Wahbi Khazri and immediately called for medical attention.
He was replaced shortly after by 21-year-old academy graduate Donald Love and manager Louis van Gaal confirmed in his postmatch news conference that the Italian would be out for some time.
