Louis van Gaal will continue trusting youngsters and it will attract them to Manchester United, according to the club's reserve-team manager.
While Van Gaal has been criticised for loaning out Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson, rather than giving them first-team chances, Warren Joyce believes the Dutchman's faith in youth will give promising players an incentive to sign for United.
Van Gaal has given debuts to eight youth-team players in his 17-month reign at Old Trafford, with 18-year-old left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, who made his bow against West Bromwich Albion last month, the most recent.
And Jesse Lingard has broken through to seem part of the 64-year-old's first-choice team and earn an England call-up.
"It's obviously massive for the club and young players," Joyce, whose under-21 side beat their Liverpool counterparts 3-2 on Monday, told the Manchester Evening News.
"I'm sure all boys around Manchester must be looking and thinking if they do any good at Manchester United they will get a chance. We haven't got a lot of numbers so they do get a chance.
"They get worked, they get opportunities to train with the first team regularly and it's the same old adage: if you do well enough, you'll get a chance and if you do well enough when you're in, you'll keep there. I think Jesse's shown that this season."
Van Gaal had three products of the United academy -- Borthwick-Jackson, Andreas Pereira and Marcus Rainford -- on the bench for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leicester.
