Manchester United striker James Wilson has signed a new contract with the club, tying him to Old Trafford until 2019.
The deal includes the option of a further year, and manager Louis van Gaal said he was delighted to have secured the future of "one of the brightest young English prospects."
Wilson, 19, came through the United ranks and has made 18 appearances, scoring four goals, since making his debut in May last year.

"James is one of the brightest young English prospects and we are delighted he has signed a new contract," Van Gaal told the United website.
"He is a very talented forward player and has a keen eye for goal. His development is continuing in the right direction, and it is clear to see that he has a fine future."
Wilson, who has been at United since the age of seven, said: "Growing up at the club has been an incredible experience, and I feel it stands me in good stead for continuing my development as a Manchester United player.
"I am delighted to have signed a new contract, and look forward to playing a part in the team for many years to come."
Earlier this month, England under-21 manager Gareth Southgate said Wilson could maximise his potential at Old Trafford.
"I believe United will handle his development in the best way," he said. "They are one of the best clubs in the world. Look at their history for developing young players.
"He hasn't got enormous game time under his belt. We might have to be patient and wait for him. We know he is a goal scorer and he has got some great potential."
