Man United's Memphis Depay won't hesitate to celebrate vs. old team PSV

Memphis Depay is relishing a "special" return to PSV Eindhoven but insisted his fondness for his former club will not stop him celebrating if he scores for Manchester United.

The 21-year-old Dutchman joined United from PSV for £25 million in the summer and the two clubs will meet in Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Depay came through PSV's youth system and went on to help them win the Eredivisie last season, when he was the division's 22-goal top scorer.

And if he gets his third United goal against his former colleagues, sentimentality will not prevent him from enjoying the moment.

"A lot of people ask me that," he said in a news conference. "I have respect for PSV but I will celebrate. Football is a game and scoring is special.

"I played here for 10 years for PSV before I came to Manchester United so it is a special feeling for me. Also to see my old teammates again and play against them so it will be interesting.

"I learned so much at PSV. But the competition is on a different level in the English Premier League. So I have to learn again at United."

Depay has started every game for United this season but was replaced at half-time in Saturday's 3-1 win over Liverpool.

But he insisted his response was positive and has vowed to get better, explaining: "My reaction was good. I thought about it and I will work on it in training to improve."
