Manchester United keeper Ben Amos to leave in the summer - sources

Goalkeeper Ben Amos is to leave Manchester United in the summer with a number of Premier League and Championship clubs chasing his signature, sources have told ESPN FC.

Amos is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season and is ready to move on in search of regular first-team football.

The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at United, was highly-regarded at the club, but has seen his path blocked to the first-team by the likes of Edwin van dar Sar and David De Gea.

Amos has only recently returned to Old Trafford after a successful spell on loan at Bolton, where he made nine appearances and won the club's player of the month award for March.

The former England under-21 international's performances at Bolton have alerted several sides in the Premier League and Championship.

Bolton boss Neil Lennon has admitted he would like to sign Amos on a permanent basis, but the keeper is set to weigh up his options this summer as he looks to find the right club to kickstart his career.
