Manchester United forward Bebe has said he is keen to return to his native Portugal this summer and hopes to join Sporting Lisbon.
Bebe, 22, spent the second half of this season on loan at Portuguese club Rio Ave after finding Old Trafford opportunities hard to come by.
United signed him from Vitoria Guimaraes in an €8.8 million deal in 2010, even though he had not played a senior game for the club.
And he told Correio da Manha he wanted to make a permanent return to Portugal, adding: "I would love to play for Sporting. The club would suit me, and it is an ambition of mine to play for them."
Bebe, who has made seven United appearances and scored twice, told the paper he felt a Sporting switch would give him the chance to play regularly.
"They put faith in young players [at Sporting], appreciate them and play an attractive game that suits my style," he explained. "It is a club that can grow."
