City's Aguero cannot complain about exhaustion - Guardiola

MANCHESTER, England -- Gabriel Jesus is fit again for Manchester City's trip to Bournemouth but Pep Guardiola warned Sergio Aguero he may have to go again despite admitting he was "exhausted" in midweek.

Gabriel has missed City's last three matches with a slight hamstring injury with Aguero playing in each of those over a seven-day period, including 120 minutes in the Carabao Cup victory over Chelsea.

But after scoring the only goal in Wednesday's night victory over West Ham United, Aguero was taken off five minutes early with Guardiola saying he could not give any more.

Asked about the Argentine starting his fourth game in 10 days, Guardiola told a news conference: "That's good. After when the players don't play they complain now when they play they cannot complain.

"Gabriel is back and Raheem [Sterling] can play there too of course."

Sterling has a brilliant record against Bournemouth -- beating them on each occasion he has faced them and scoring in every game as a City player.

Last season the England international scored a hat trick against the Cherries as well as a dramatic stoppage-time winner at the Vitality Stadium that began an incredible 18-game winning streak in the Premier League.

John Stones is also back from injury for Saturday's game but Guardiola said his players have done little training ahead of the match.

"We are in a position with 30 points to play for, 10 games left, one point below Liverpool, many things are going to happen, let's not think tomorrow is the end of the world and if we win everything is perfect," he said.

"The Champions League is around the corner, we have the cup, many games, let's hope the players recover well.

"I was really impressed after 120 minutes in the final with the intensity and how well they played against West Ham. But now the recovery is less, we have to travel. We could not train absolutely anything, just recovering for our efforts over the last two weeks.

"Bournemouth at home is a complete different team to the one that plays away. They know their stadium, they beat not long ago Chelsea 4-0, defended well and used the counter-attacks incredibly.

"That is what I'm concerned about, not about the future and the pressure, nobody knows -- not even the big pundits."
