Manchester City close to full strength after international break

Pep Guardiola could have virtually a full squad to pick from for Manchester City's next game with Crystal Palace if his players come through the rest of the international break unscathed.

Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo limped out of Chile's game with Colombia on Friday with a hip injury, but he is set to return for the World Cup qualifier with Colombia on Tuesday night and will be available on Saturday.

Bacary Sagna has returned to full training after five weeks out with a hamstring tear and will be in contention for the game at Selhurst Park.

The France defender remained in Manchester for the international break to work on getting back to full fitness.

City captain Vincent Kompany could also be in the squad for Palace despite pulling out of Belgium's friendly with the Netherlands minutes before kickoff last Wednesday.

The 30-year-old, who has started just three games for City this season, remained with the Belgium squad although he did not feature in the 8-1 win over Estonia on Sunday.

His withdrawal from the games was a precautionary measure, though he hasn't played any minutes since Oct. 26.

Guardiola will also soon be boosted by the return of midfielder Fabian Delph, who has not played since Aug. 24 after a groin injury.

Delph revealed that he has been troubled by the problem for eight months and had surgery to try to sort out the issue.

The England midfielder's return to fitness is ahead of schedule, although the Palace game may come too soon.

Yaya Toure is also back in contention for a place in the City team after saying sorry for comments made by his agent Dimitri Seluk.

The Ivorian was frozen out of the squad but Guardiola has accepted his apology and he could come into contention for the game with Palace.

Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi both missed City's last game -- the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough -- but were rested and have since played for England and Argentina respectively.
