De Bruyne was expected to miss around four weeks after suffering an injury in the 3-1 victory over Swansea on Sept. 24, which saw him miss the 3-3 Champions League draw with Celtic and 2-0 league defeat to Tottenham, but he makes an early return.
Sterling, who missed the international break through injury, has also recovered and appears set to play in a left wing-back role, with Germany winger Sane on the right.
Guardiola had said centre-back Kompany was nearing a return to action on Friday, while Aguero had been a doubt for the game as the result of an adductor injury he picked up on duty with Argentina. Kelechi Iheanacho starts in attack.
