Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has not ruled out a move to AC Milan next season, telling Italian television that it is one of his ambitions to work in Serie A.
Pellegrini will leave City at the end of the season to be replaced by Pep Guardiola and uncertainty surrounds his future.
The Milan job could be available again with Cristian Brocchi not yet convincing since replacing Sinisa Mihajlovic last month and the Chilean coach has been touted as a potential target for the Rossoneri.
"Serie A is where all coaches have ambitions of going," he told Mediaset ahead of City's Champions League semifinal return against Real Madrid on Wednesday night. "But that's not something I'm thinking of right now.
"Right now, the only reason I want to go to Milan is to play the final of the Champions League and win it. Only after then will we found out what my future holds."
It has been reported that Milan's general manager Adriano Galliani will be in attendance at Madrid to take in Wednesday night's semifinal, adding to the rumours regarding Pellegrini.
City need to beat Real Madrid or earn a score draw at the Bernabeu to set up a first Champions League final against Atletico Madrid at Milan's San Siro on May 28.
