Manchester City recall star names as expected for Dynamo Kiev first leg

Manchester City have recalled a host of star names for Wednesday's Champions League tie in Kiev following Sunday's heavily rotated selection in the FA Cup against Chelsea.

Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Fernandino, Raheem Sterling and Joe Hart all return to the starting line-up to face Dynamo, having not featuring in the 5-1 FA Cup defeat.

Manuel Pellegrini has made 10 changes in total from his much-criticised selection against Chelsea, with Brazilian midfielder Fernando the only player retained from the 11 that took to the field on Sunday.

Toure will start in the most advanced position of the midfield three, with Kevin de Bruyne, Jesus Navas, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri and Fabian Delph all unavailable due to injury.

Man City starting XI: Hart, Sagna, Kompany (C), Otamendi, Clichy, Fernando, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Sterling, Aguero. Subs: Caballero, Demichelis, Zabaleta, Mangala, Kolarov, M.Garcia, Iheanacho.

Dynamo Kiev: Shovkovskiy (C), Danilo Silva, Dragovic, Vida, Khacheridi, Rybalka, Garmash, Gonzalez, Buyalskiy, Yarmolenko, Teodorczyk. Subs: Makarenko, Veloso, Petrovic, Rudko, Júnior Moraes, Korzun, Gusev.
