Man City's Sergio Aguero says goals will start to flow once he's fully fit

Sergio Aguero has warned the Premier League to watch out because he close to being back to his best.

The Manchester City striker says he is almost fully fit after missing large chunks of the season with separate hamstring, knee and heel injuries. And he insisted he will cash in with plenty of goals when he gets his sharpness back.

Aguero has started City's last six games -- scoring four times -- and he insists there is plenty more to come.

"I'm getting to feel better and better physically and I'm getting my full fitness back which is great," Aguero said.

"Obviously as I get back to full fitness, the goals will start to flow. It's all about carrying on in the same way, playing in the same way and to try and keep on winning."

Manuel Pellegrini is in no doubt about the importance of keeping Aguero fit if City are to collect any silverware at the end of the season.

The City boss said the 27-year-old is impossible to replace, and has backed the Argentine to finish the season injury-free after he was put on a specially-tailored diet and fitness regime to try to minimise the number of muscle injuries, which have dogged his career.

"It's always nice when your manager, or in fact anyone, speaks of you in a positive way. I'm happy to hear those words and it's even better when it's your manager who is speaking positively about you," he said.

"It's alright him saying words, but I have to back that up out there on the field to prove that what he's saying is true. I must keep working in the same way and carrying on in the same vain to make sure that he doesn't speak in a negative way about me."

City are a point behind Arsenal and Leicester City ahead of Saturday's visit to West Ham United. But Aguero says they must not what their rivals are doing and concentrate on their own performances if they are to finish top of the Premier League at the end of the season.

"It is a really tough league to play in. It makes it hard to stay at the very top of the league," he said.

What we have to do is not worry about the other teams but instead concentrate on our own form and try to win as many games as we can with particular emphasis on trying to pick up points away from home as well.

"I think in our heads we have to be aware that we're a strong side that is capable of beating anybody and that's how we have to approach all our games."
