Sergio Aguero thanked by family of distressed Everton fan

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been praised by the son of the stricken Everton fan he helped during Sunday's Premier League game at Goodison Park.

Aguero spotted Everton supporter Frank as he suffered an epileptic fit, with Toffees defender Seamus Coleman joining the Argentine star in beckoning medical staff to attend to the man.

It later emerged that the supporter called Frank has made a full recovery after a trip to hospital and his son told talkSPORT that the family is grateful to Aguero for his swift intervention.

"He fine, he's home now," John stated, as he spoke about his father. "I wanted to thank not only the Everton fans and Aguero, but the City fans as well.

"When he got round to the away stand, they all stood up and clapped him off. The reception we got from them was amazing and really appreciated.

"We all love football when it all boils down to it, so I wanted to thank City fans for their support, as well as Aguero for what he did. My Dad will be at the next match hopefully."
