Edin Dzeko believes the Premier League title race will go down to the wire and insists Manchester City’s chances of coming out on top have not been ended by Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Liverpool.

Dzeko, 28, scored City’s injury-time equaliser before they went on to beat Queens Park Rangers in May 2012 to become English champions for the first time in 44 years.
City, who had been eight points behind Manchester United with six games to go then, are now seven adrift of leaders Liverpool.
And that gives the Bosnia-Herzegovina international hope that the club can stage another dramatic comeback in the final weeks of the season.
He told City’s official website: "It's too early to say if Sunday's result will decide where the title ends up because we still have six games to play, and Liverpool and Chelsea both have four left.
"People talk about pressure and such like, but that doesn't really matter -- just who wins the most games between now and the end of the season. I firmly believe, like the last time we won the title, that it will go right to the wire."
Dzeko, who has scored 21 times this season, has won the league in both Germany and England.
“It is very difficult to win titles anywhere and the Bundesliga and the Premier League are among the hardest to win,” he said. “But I enjoyed winning the league with Wolfsburg and it was amazing to win it with City, and I hope to win it many more times as a City player.”
Manuel Pellegrini’s side now have back-to-back home games against teams fighting the threat of relegation, and Dzeko said: “We have to get back-on-track by beating Sunderland and West Brom in the next week.”
