Edin Dzeko’s agent has dismissed reports that Inter Milan have approached Manchester City regarding a move for the striker.
Dzeko, 26, has been the subject of widespread speculation linking him with a move to the Nerazzurri, which has only intensified following the completion of Wesley Sneijder’s move to Galatasaray earlier this week.
However, according to the Bosnia international’s representatives, no enquiries have been made over the player’s availability. Dzeko’s agent, Irfan Redzepagic, has also dismissed the idea that the Premier League club would be interested in selling a player who has netted 11 goals in just nineteen appearances so far this season.
“Are Inter interested in him for next summer? I know nothing of it,” Redzepagic told TMW. “Inter have never contacted me and I think the answer would be obvious.
“Edin is happy at Manchester City and he's not going to move from there, neither in January nor in the summer. He still has two-and-a half years on his contract and there is no reason to talk about the future.
“So I repeat, neither Inter nor any other club have called me.”
