Toronto FC players celebrate after opening the scoring against Ottawa Fury in the Canadian Championship.

Toronto FC overturned a first-leg deficit against Ottawa Fury, beating its USL rivals 4-0 on Wednesday night and 5-2 on aggregate to reach the finals of the Canadian Championship.

Ottawa was clinging to a 2-1 first-leg advantage in their trip to BMO Field and held firm for most of the first half against Toronto, but the deadlock was broken just before half-time with a 41st minute own goal from Eddie Edward.

One minute later, Tsubasa Endoh doubled the lead from a Victor Vazquez assist to put Toronto back in front 3-2 on aggregate ahead of the second half.

And the second 45 minutes offered no respite for Ottawa, as goals from Marco Delgado and Sebastian Giovinco sealed the win for Toronto.

Greg Vanney's MLS-leading Reds will now play the Montreal Impact, who beat the Vancouver Whitecaps in the other semi, on June 21 and 27 in a two-legged final to determine Canada's club champion for 2017.
