Major League Soccer has released its 2015 playoff schedule, with MLS Cup set for Dec. 6 on ESPN.
This year's playoffs will be the first with an expanded field of 12 teams. The third and fourth seeds in each conference host the fifth and sixth seeds in single knockout matches.
Those games will only be broadcast nationally on UniMas, with English commentary on SAP.
The conference semifinals and finals that follow are each over two legs. The conference finals will wait a week during the FIFA international break.
MLS Cup will be hosted by the surviving team with the best regular-season record.
