Sporting KC 1-1 Fire: Magee makes good
Mike Magee netted a first-half equaliser as the struggling Chicago Fire claimed a much-needed point from a 1-1 draw at Sporting Kansas City.
The home side took the lead through Dom Dwyer just after the half-hour mark but 29-year-old striker Magee notched five minutes before the break to hand the Fire a share of the points.
The result leaves Kansas two points off DC United's lead at the top of the MLS Eastern Conference, while Chicago remain second-bottom after recording just two wins all season.
