Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley underwent successful surgery on his right ankle Tuesday night, with the 32-year-old midfielder expected to return to full fitness in approximately four months.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Martin O'Malley at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

The injury occurred during the team's MLS Cup loss to the Seattle Sounders on Nov. 10.

Minnesota United is attempting to acquire Boca Juniors midfielder Emanuel Reynoso for a Designated Player spot, multiple league sources have confirmed to ESPN.

Pachuca forward Franco Jara will join FC Dallas in July, as the MLS club announced Tuesday that it had signed the Argentine to a Designated Player deal.

Jara, who turns 32 on July 15, will make the move to Texas after the conclusion of Liga MX's 2020 Clausura season.

D.C. United have acquired midfielder Julian Gressel from Atlanta United in exchange for up to $1.1 million in allocation money, the club announced on Tuesday.

The Washington Post and Atlanta Journal-Constitution were the first to report the news.
