Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals he couldn't have timed his 500th goal better.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic admitted his future is uncertain and declined Friday to commit to another season with the LA Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic has had a remarkable debut season in MLS, scoring 17 goals in 22 games, and is under contract for next year, but the 36-year-old told reporters he's not ready to make a decision about spending a second year in Southern California.

"I don't know. This I have to discuss," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "This is not the moment to talk about that. It's something...

MLS fines Zlatan Ibrahimovic again for putting hands on opponent

Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted his 500th career goal, but Toronto's offensive explosion of five goals was too much as Toronto defeated LA Galaxy 5-3.

Major League Soccer has issued another fine to LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for putting his hands on an opponent.

Ibrahimovic repeatedly jostled the head of Toronto FC defender Nick Hagglund while they were lining up ahead of a free kick in the Galaxy's 5-3 loss last weekend. MLS did not disclose the amount of the fine.

The incident marks the second time in less than a month that the league has fined the Swedish star for violating its policy regarding "hands to the face, head or neck of an...

Sources: Earthquakes inquire about LAFC assistant Marc Dos Santos

LAFC assistant coach Marc Dos Santos joins an increasingly lengthy list of candidates for the San Jose Earthquakes.

Multiple sources have confirmed to ESPN FC that the Quakes have asked LAFC for permission to speak to Dos Santos. TVA Sports first reported that Dos Santos is on the team's list of candidates.

The Quakes fired Mikael Stahre earlier this week following a dreadful season that sees San Jose with the worst points total (20) in the entire league. Former assistant Steve Ralston is currently...

New York Red Bulls to wear hand-painted boots to raise awareness for pediatric cancer

The New York Red Bulls' footwear will be more colorful than ever during warmups ahead of Saturday's match against Toronto FC (5 p.m. ET, ESPN+), when Red Bulls players will take the pitch in custom-painted boots they helped design with local pediatric cancer patients.

Over the summer, these patients and their families visited the Red Bulls' training facility, where they were paired up with an individual player whose boots they'd design together. Once they were finalized, the footwear was handed...

Francesco Totti: I rejected MLS, Asia to avoid tarnishing Roma legacy

Alexis Nunes and Steve Nicol go head-to-head to predict the fixtures in the fifth week of Serie A action, which all can be watched on ESPN+.
AS Roma Eusebio Di Francesco believes Real Madrid's Luka Modric has been exceptional for both club and country and rarely makes mistakes.
Real Madrid head coach Julen Lopetegui prefers to talk about his whole team after their win over Roma.
Roma scored two first-half goals from Stephan El Shaarawy and Bryan Cristante, but Chievo battled back with two second-half goals to earn a 2-2 draw.

Roma icon Francesco Totti has said he turned down a move to Major League Soccer because he didn't want to "ruin" his 25-year career.

Totti retired in 2017, having spent his entire professional career with boyhood club Roma, making his debut in 1992. He had offers to continue playing, but insisted he wanted to maintain his promise of never playing for another club.

"I would have ruined a 25-year career," Totti told La Repubblica when asked why he decided not to play in Asia or the United States....
