Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson vows to carry on dribbling in Premier League

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has said he will continue dribbling in an effort to assert his style on the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp's men made it three wins from three games by beating Brighton 1-0, with Alisson keeping a third consecutive clean sheet. He showed his ability with the ball at his feet when he dinked it over Anthony Knockaert -- and insisted it is part of his game.

"I try my best to help the team in the build up," Alisson said. "If sometimes there is a situation where there is dribbling, I do it carefully.

"It could be too risky, but it's part of the game. We are a team that plays from the back with the ball on the ground. That's part of the team's characteristics. Mistakes may happen, but we work hard during the week to [do] everything correctly during the matches."

Meanwhile, Liverpool's second-choice goalkeeper, Simon Mignolet, reiterated his desire to play more matches and labelled Loris Karius' loan move to Besiktas as "bizarre."

"The transfer of Karius doesn't change anything for me," he told Het Laatste Nieuws. "I have always been clear: I want to play.

"Being No. 2 or No. 3 makes little difference. Playing minutes is the most important thing.

"Nobody has said anything to me after the departure of Loris. So I don't know what my future at Liverpool is. We will see what happens this week."

Mignolet was second-choice to Karius last season and, for that reason, he cannot understand why the German has been allowed to leave.

"I find it bizarre that Karius was loaned while I also had options to be loaned, but for some reason that was not possible.

"A goalkeeper who was preferred to me last year may leave on a loan basis. Strange."
