LIVERPOOL -- Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool had to work extremely hard for their "perfect result" in the 5-0 win over Swansea City on Tuesday evening.
Liverpool moved back into the top four on Boxing Day after scoring five times against the relegation-threatened Swans at Anfield.
Philippe Coutinho's opener after six minutes and second-half strikes from Roberto Firmino (two), Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain extended Liverpool's unbeaten run to 14 matches.
"We had, even in a not really good first half, enough chances to score two or three goals. That should be enough. I was not disappointed at half-time," Klopp told a news conference.
"We did better in the second half. After the game, you look and it's 5-0 and you think: 'Wow, 5-0. Easy game.'.
"It wasn't an easy game. It wasn't an easy game and I have no problem with that. Absolutely not. I'm really happy about about the things we learned from the game.
"It's a perfect result for us. Nobody injured as far as I know and a very important three points, five goals, clean sheet. It's all good."
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be without Jordan Henderson (hamstring) and Alberto Moreno (ankle) for the upcoming matches with Leicester City and Burnley at least, Klopp has confirmed
"Length of time [on their returns], actually I have no idea to be honest -- but it won't be tomorrow," Klopp added. "Both are out for the next two games for sure. On Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, they have no chance, then we have to see again."
Caretaker Swansea boss Leon Britton lamented the errors his team made at Anfield and questioned the fight some of the players displayed when losing, with the result leaving the Welsh side bottom of the Premier League -- five points adrift from safety.
"If you're making basic errors that you'd expect to see in academy football against Liverpool and the quality they've got then they're going to punish you," he said.
"We're bottom of the league, of course, [and] confidence is low in the team. I did see in the first half that as the game went on, the team was growing in confidence. But after the second goal, the confidence completely went.
"At the same time, you have to give everything you've got and still do the right things on the football pitch. As players, we've all been in situations where it's difficult afternoons, but you still remain professional and do the right things and do the right job for the team.
"I have to be honest and say I didn't see that from a lot of players."
