Liverpool's Mohamed Salah named Premier League Player of the Month

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month for November.

Salah, 25, maintained his prolific start to his first season at Anfield by scoring seven goals in Liverpool's four Premier League games last month.

Burnley's Robbie Brady, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, Manchester United's Ashley Young, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi were the other contenders for the November prize.

Salah, signed from Roma in the summer for £34 million, is the Premier League's top scorer with 13 goals -- as many as teammates Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have managed between them in the division so far this season.

In all, he has netted 20 times across his 27 appearances in all competitions this season.

Salah, the first Egyptian to win the award, is next set to be in action in Sunday's away match at Bournemouth.
