Liverpool defender Joel Matip is training with the team in Barcelona after missing Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth with an ankle injury, a source has told ESPN FC.
Matip took part in a session at a warm-weather training camp in the city on Tuesday morning.
But the source added that the centre-half was not "back in training" as such, given that he was present for sessions at Melwood towards the end of last week.
Matip has been hugely impressive for Liverpool since arriving on a free transfer from Bundesliga side Schalke in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp's side have only lost two Premier League games so far this season -- at Burnley and Bournemouth -- with Matip not featuring in either match.
Klopp flew his Liverpool side out to Catalonia immediately following Sunday's game.
The players went through a recovery session on Monday before training again on Tuesday. They will head to the Camp Nou to watch Barcelona's Champions League tie against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Liverpool return to Merseyside on Wednesday to continue their preparations for the weekend visit of West Ham United.
