Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: Divock Origi's ankle not broken

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Divock Origi's ankle is not broken, after Ramiro Funes Mori's tackle on him in the 4-0 win over Everton.

Funes Mori was sent off in the second half for the lunge, which saw the striker leave the field on a stretcher, and Klopp insisted that it took some gloss off the massive Merseyside derby win.

"4-0 against Everton, if you told me before the game I would take it but now it is spoiled by the injury," he said after the game. "The situation with Divock Origi is not good. The first reaction was maybe it's broken but it's not broken.

"The ankle is twisted so we have to see. The season is only four weeks. I am happy that it is not broken.

"When you want to have success you need luck with injuries. Seeing him on the floor is not too nice so I couldn't enjoy the second half too much."
