Liverpool not feeling pressure ahead of Dortmund clash - Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has said Liverpool are not feeling the pressure ahead of their Europa League quarterfinal second leg against Dortmund on Thursday.

The Reds have an away goal after drawing 1-1 at Signal Iduna Park as Klopp returned to his former club last week.

However, the German is not letting the occasion get to either him or his team as he looks to seal progress to the semifinals.

"I have no idea what it is like at BVB, but I don't think we are under particular pressure. We have a great chance," Klopp told a news conference.

"BVB are a great side and we respect that, but I think [Dortmund boss Thomas] Tuchel thinks the same.

"It's not a question of pressure, it's a great chance to get to a semifinal. There aren't that many chances to win titles. Pressure does not come into it."

Asked about the importance of the away goal scored by Divock Origi, Klopp added: "It makes a difference only if you get the right result in the second game.

"Dortmund can score goals anywhere in the world. You can't just try to keep the clean sheet. Maybe after 85-89 minutes the away goal will be relevant, but not earlier. It's an open game. The crowd is more of an advantage than the away goal.

"Only at 0-0 is it an advantage. If we win, we don't need it. This is a new start. We know about the quality of Dortmund. Now they know a little bit more about our qualities. We will see who handles it better."

Klopp also insisted that Liverpool would be facing the game "with a new attitude."

"I don't think we were at our limit last week, and nor were BVB," he said. "Maybe some thought BVB would have an easier time of it. We created chances and didn't just defend. It will be the same tomorrow, a balance between attack and defence.

"Forget about last week -- we will face tomorrow night with a new attitude.

"We won't be flying a white flag. BVB can play better, but so can we. We need to do better tomorrow night."
